Jiulongpo District is located in the center of Chongqing's main metropolitan area, covering an area of 432 square kilometers. Its has nine neighborhoods and 10 towns. It has a resident population of 1,530,000 people, and the urbanization rate is 94%. The first market in Chongqing, active trade
Jiulongpo is steadily creating a pilot international consumption centre area. A national-level nighttime cultural and tourism consumption cluster has been built in Ba Guocheng. Jiulongpo District is one of the first pilot urban renewal districts in China, and the demonstration effect has been released continuously. The old neighborhood renovation project in Hongyupo District was awarded the China Habitat Environment (Example) Award. Democracy Village was selected as one of the top ten cases of complete community construction by the Ministry of Housing and Construction.
